Motion:Harmonic | Excite Audio | 2023

The first of two VST plugins created with Excite Audio, motion:harmonic provides parameters for distortion, bit-crushing, and filtering all of which are visualized in real-time by the reactive visualization that echoes these auditory manipulations.

The user interface introduces six macro sliders, which can be customized to apply the various audio effects. The visualization reacts to these adjustments, offering immediate feedback. The plugin goes beyond simple sliders, allowing for complex paths to be traced and recorded on a timeline. It also allows for the mouse to act as a force of attraction or repulsion for each slider.

The visualization was built in pure GLSL.
