ECHO is an interactive installation presented as part of Interrogative AI, an international exhibition hosted by the Incheon Art Platform in South Korea. The exhibition gathered nine artists from Korea, France, Taiwan and Singapore to explore questions around artificial intelligence, with support from the French Institute and the Digital November 2025 program.
The piece confronts visitors with an AI-mediated reflection of themselves, rendered as if they were someone else, a mise en abyme of subjectivity in which the viewer’s own gaze encounters the paradoxes of its twin. Drawing on the myth of Echo and Narcissus, the work explores how our perception of reality is shaped by projection and bias.
